Let recruiters find your best resume.

Recruiter sharing is an optional Resume Sketch feature. If you consent, Resume Sketch may share your starred resume with recruiters, hiring managers, staffing agencies and companies we work with ("hiring partners") who are looking for candidates.

It is separate from the Terms and Privacy Policy: those two boxes are required to create an account, this one isn't. Leaving it unticked doesn't limit anything else you can do in Resume Sketch.

• At sign-up: tick the third, optional box: "Share my starred resume with recruiters and hiring partners".
• Later: turn it on or off in Profile → Privacy & sharing. The page shows whether it's on and since when.
• Every change is recorded with a date, so there's always a clear record of what you chose.
• Without a starred resume, nothing is shared, even if the setting is on.

• On your dashboard, tap the star at the top right of the resume you want recruiters to see. Only one resume can be starred at a time.
• Starring another resume moves the star; tapping it again removes it.
• Keep the starred resume current: we share it as it is at the moment we share it. Edits after that don't reach copies a recruiter already has.
• Starring a resume never makes it public. It isn't a share link, and nobody can find it on the web.

We share only with recruiters and hiring partners who agree to:

• use your resume only to consider you for job opportunities and to contact you about them;
• not sell it, publish it, or pass it to anyone outside their hiring process;
• keep it secure and delete it when it's no longer needed or when you ask them to.

Once a recruiter has your resume, they are responsible for it under their own privacy policy and the law. If a recruiter misuses it, tell us and we will stop working with them.

• We may match resumes to openings by target role, skills, experience and location, either manually or with automated tools.
• Authorised Resume Sketch staff may open your starred resume to check it's complete and suitable before sharing.
• We don't make decisions about you that have legal effects: recruiters make their own hiring decisions.

• Turn it off any time in Profile → Privacy & sharing, or by emailing us. It takes effect immediately for future sharing.
• Removing the star, or deleting the starred resume or your account, also stops sharing.
• We can't recall copies already sent. On request, we'll give you the names of the recruiters we shared with so you can ask them to delete it.

Your consent stays in place until you withdraw it or close your account. We keep the record of your choices (and of who we shared with) for up to 3 years after that, so we can prove consent and answer your questions.

• Free. We never charge you for recruiter sharing.
• Never sold. We don't sell your resume or put it in bulk databases.
• No guarantees. We can't promise interviews, offers or replies, and hiring decisions are the recruiter's.
• Honest. If anything about this feature changes, we'll update this page and tell you before it affects you.
