Questions about plans
What happens if I run out of credits?
Your resumes stay fully editable and downloadable. Only the AI features pause, until your credits refill (on the same day each month as you started your plan) or you move to a bigger plan.
Is there a free trial that turns into a subscription?
No. The Free plan needs no card and doesn't expire. Pro and Max are billed monthly, and you can cancel any time.
What happens if I move to a smaller plan?
Nothing is ever deleted. If you have more resumes or share links than the new plan allows, your account becomes read-only (you can still view, download and delete) until you're back within the limit.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. A plan runs one month from the day you start it and credits refill on that day each month; anything left doesn't carry over. Referral bonuses are valid for one month from the day you get them.
Do PDF downloads or templates use credits?
No. Every plan, including Free, has all 55 templates and unlimited PDF downloads. Credits are only used by AI features.
Can I use my own API key?
Yes, on every plan. Requests that run on your own API key don't use any of your credits.
